Chickenpox is quite endemic disease, which is common in almost everyone’s life. Every individual should have been infected with this disease. Chickenpox (medically referred as varicella disease) is caused by the infection of varicella zoster virus. Chickenpox is known to be with high morbidity but very low mortality. However, there are reports that the disease is neither uniformally mild in all parts of the world nor the mortality is negligible everywhere. Furthermore, it is recognized that chickenpox can produce severe illness in children who have malignant disease, who are immunosuppressed or who have congenital deficiencies of immune system. It is also believed that pregnant women develop severe varicella. Simple suggestion to deal with discomforts caused by chicken pox would be to stop taking food, which is too salty or too acidic.
