Usually chicken pox vaccine is given to the children at the age of 12-15 months at first dosage and 2-4 years the second dosage which makes the child immune for that disease. People who have not formally received the chicken pox vaccine in their childhood can get their vaccine at the age of 13 the two dosages with a gap of 28 days. This vaccine has dead or low active viruses which cause smallpox and thus when inserted in the body makes the immune systems to act on it and it becomes ready for the encounter of the viruses when they actually enter into the body of children. Thus it formally causes low fever in children upon vaccination. Thus the vaccination of the viruses is seen. Thus it is seen vaccination is the only method to prevent small pox disease.
